Recreational Program

NEFA™ promotes and offers recreational classes for children, teens, and adults through the Arlington, Reading, Wakefield and Winchester Recreation Departments.

Our belief is one should participate in fencing for the fun it provides. For some, this fun may be through its social opportunities or health benefits, or its competitive challenges, or through the experience of enhancing personal growth, or developing physical skills, mental focus, or tactical thinking, or acquiring theater skills.

Father & Son Fencing

NEFA™ offers a supportive training program that focuses on the fencer as an individual. Beginners through advanced fencers are welcome. We are a “community” of fencers that support each other both on and off the strip.

NEFA™ provides new fencers with equipment for the first session (8 classes) to try out this sport without having to purchase a set of gear.

Mom & Daughter Fencing

NEFA™ does not and shall not discriminate by race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation in any of its activities or operations.

If you want to participate in a great sport, fencing may be the sport for you. Give it a try!
