The instructor is Michael Tarascio, a former member of the United States World Championship Team.

We supply all of the necessary fencing gear to beginners for their use during the classes.

Ever wanted to try fencing? It is one of those sports that most people have always wanted to try, but perhaps have never had the opportunity.

Now is your chance! Winchester Recreation Department is offering these 1 hour Introduction to the Sport of Fencing Sessions for children, teens and adults (ages 7 and older).

Come learn the exciting sport of fencing from Michael Tarascio, former member of the United States World Championship Team. Michael’s philosophy on fencing is “Participate in fencing because it’s fun”.

Where: Winchester Recreation Department, 263 Main Street, Winchester, MA (Gym entrance is on Madison Ave.

NEFA WINCHESTER RECREATION SUMMER PROGRAM

We teach Beginner/Intermediate Fencing classes through the Winchester Recreation Department. We conduct 5-week sessions during the summer and charge for four.

Michael Tarascio, a former member of the United States World Championship Team, teaches these classes.

If you want to participate in a great sport, fencing may be the sport for you. Give it a try! Fencing is fun!
